Aadal

Endelig får vi besøk av det jevnlig turnerende bandet AADAL til Risør Jazzklubb! Spesielt i England har bandet satt et tydelig avtrykk, men også her til lands gjør de stor suksess. For Risør Jazzklubb er det flere kjenninger i besetningen, og vi gleder oss masse!

Kvartetten AADAL har så langt gitt ut albumene "Silver", "Lost Songs" og nå sist "Voyager", som kom i april 2023.

Musikken har et klart utgangspunkt i jazzens røtter, men den har også tydelige referanser til andre sjangre som Americana, post-rock og indie. Av inspirasjonskilder nevnes navn som Brian Blade, Bill Frisell, Daniel Lanois, samt nyere band som The War on Drugs og Bon Iver. I de siste årene har AADAL turnert jevnlig både her til lands og i England.
